Why Einkorn? Why Freshly Milled?

Get ready to dive into the delicious story of our bread. We are not just another bakery – we are a bread mission, starting a revival of primitive wheat through our freshly baked Einkorn bread. Your health is our mission, one bite at a time. Why do we bake with Einkorn? It is so flavourful! It has a safe form of gluten that most gluten-free can eat. It is higher in vitamins and proteins than modern wheat. Why do we freshly mill our flour? We discovered animal studies that showed eating aged flour caused sterility by the fourth generation. Since the advent of centralized milling, there have been more diseases in human health. Maybe there's a connection? So our small mom and pop bakery started because we wanted to make healthy food a lifestyle. When our community started asking for this nutritious grain too- The Einkorn Shoppe was born.

Payment, shipping, and satisfaction guarantee

We offer $5 local delivery in Oakville, Ontario and $10 to nearby areas. Local orders of $40 or more qualify for free local delivery. For outside the Greater Toronto Area, we provide expedited shipping across Canada for $15, and the United States for $35CAD. Many orders arrive next day or within 2 days using UPS or FedEx. We carefully pack each order with love, so please allow 3 business days after you place your order for milling, baking, packing, and delivery to your door. We bake orders between Mondays and Thursdays for local delivery, and up to Wednesdays for shipping. For payment, we accept major credit cards. Local customers may also use cash or e-transfer. Please note that all prices listed on our website are in Canadian dollars (CAD). As our bread is made to order, each purchase is final. However, if you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact us. We aim to resolve any issues to your complete satisfaction.
